Colin was born in the UK and grew up in Cape Town, he is a former professional yachtsman and sail designer and was a helmsman/ trimmer in the 1993/94 Whitbread Race

(Now the Volvo Ocean Race). Colin has been a Captain for over 10 years now and is in command of a well known 53 Meter Motor Yacht.
